This is again, also to establish that u are able to back-up/restore the ecm image yourself properly before wiping out the old program in it. This is also so that any truck specific settings, if they get lost along the way, can be looked at in the old program if needed. this is the only software that can do this correctly. * The bad program needs to be backed up using the Calterm software (and a copy e-mailed to me for a proper inspection/review). Here is what needs to happen to start fixing this mess (repost from similar thread). Anyone who is willing to help is much appreciated, I do not want the help for free. I'm looking for someone that will help create the file for me to load in my ECM.
I've learned alot about all of this and have a whole new appreciation and for these engines and the individuals that understand them. I have been trying to get my tune where I want it, but I have reached my limit and comfort zone of what I am doing. This edition of the program Calterm 4 + MetaFiles was included version 2.4, support for GTIS 3,8, 2,0 and pre-2.(09-28-2020 )lando3145 Wrote: I have talked to Rawze and received a bunch of help from a few others on the forum. Most support tool Calterm 4 + MetaFiles can work with all the functions of electronic control units (ECM), but, given the progressive growth and changes in electronic systems Cummins.ĭiagnostic Tool Calterm 4 + MetaFiles created specifically to support the Global Tool Interface Specification (GTIS) 4,5 and Core-II software. The new version of the tool support Calterm 4.2.1.005 + MetaFiles allows diagnosing electronic engine Cummins, as the diagnostic Calterm III is designed to improve the performance of all electronic engineers design features of the engine, thus, the tool helps to diagnose, design, manipulation of electronic control modules (ECM).
